Welcome to Wilmington Maternal-Fetal Medicine where we provide consultations for complicated and high-risk pregnancies. As maternal-fetal specialists we are an additional resource for you and your doctor. Wilmington Maternal-Fetal Medicine does not replace your obstetrician; our role is to help your doctor provide you with high-quality care.

You may have been referred to our practice for an ultrasound study and/or a visit with one of our physicians, nurse practitioners or genetic counselors regarding your pregnancy. We hope this information will help to answer some of your questions before your visit.

Your appointment may include a session with a genetic counselor, an ultrasound study and/or a visit with one of our physicians or nurse practitioners. We encourage you to bring your partner with you. However, space is limited and we request that no more than two adults accompany you to the appointment. Due to the sensitive nature of our practice we cannot allow children in the office or waiting room. Please make childcare arrangements before your visit.
